When working with a Realtor, it is important to understand who the Realtor works for and to whom the Realtor is legally obligated.

The rules of The Canadian Real Estate Association require realtors to explain the various possible realtionships to a buyer or seller and to seek written disclosure of the type of realtionship which applies to the particular situation.
